Product Design | User Interface Design | Project Management As the lead designer on the project, I was responsible for managing the design system our users see. It contains the necessary UI elements that need to be designed for each of our core apps. This can include icons, splash screens, notifications, display graphics and more. I also played a key role in ensuring consistency across different platforms by collaborating with other teams on redesigning current UI components and creating new ones as needed. This effort allowed us to make changes in one central location and share with all the designers working on the digital estate.
The design system creates a common style language for designers and developers, so they can more easily collaborate with one another. The goal was for a design system to do the heavy lifting of communicating what the brand's visual identity needs in order to maintain consistency throughout the three pillar banks and have a positive impact on business delivery.
